Adam Edelen interview! Plus, Alison Lundergan Grimes and the board of elections, the tied 13th District recount, and more

Adam Edelen

On this week’s “My Old Kentucky Podcast,” we were thrilled to welcome Gubernatorial candidate Adam Edelen onto our show. Robert talked to him about why he’s running, what he wants to do as governor, how he would accomplish those goals, and how he plans to win the election. Mr. Edelen is full of policy ideas and definitely has a clear vision for Kentucky’s future. (Interview begins at 29:23)

Before speaking with Mr. Edelen, Jazmin and Robert talk through the second and third parts of a series of articles in the Herald-Leader (written with ProPublica) about Alison Lundergan Grimes and her relationship with the State Board of Elections, plus her connections with a cybersecurity firm that received a no-bid contract. Then, Jazmin and Robert discuss the recount in the 13th House District, which ended in a tie! Finally, they wrap the news with two topics touching on abortion rights in Kentucky.
