In the latest polling on America’s governors by Morning Consult, Kentucky’s Matt Bevin is 4th from the bottom in terms of popularity in his state.

Bevin is at 55% disapproval and 30% approval, for a net of minus 25%. The only governors less popular are Mary Fallin (R-OK), Dan Malloy (D-CT), and Bruce Rauner (R-IL).

According to the article on Morning Consult:

As his 2019 re-election campaign approaches, Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin (R) has yet to recover from his tumultuous second quarter, in which he experienced a 25-point drop in net approval that came amid a teachers’ strike and a fight over Medicaid work requirements. Fifty-five percent of voters in the Bluegrass State disapprove of his job performance, compared with 30 percent who approve.

  1. I really feel bad for OK, CT, and IL, knowing there are three perceived to be worse than Bevin. His very name will be sending shivers down my spine for years. It’s one thing to just be incapable of governing, but his ego is so big, there isn’t room in his head for the thought that he’s incapable of anything. He needs to stop digging.
