This week Jazmin and Robert discuss new COVID-19 restrictions put in place by Governor Beshear, and the Supreme Court of Kentucky case that ensured he would be able to put those restrictions in place. In addition, they discussed the ascension of Colmon Elridge to chair of the Kentucky Democratic Party – the first Black person to hold that title.

After that, the pair interviewed Rep. Buddy Wheatley from the 65th District – the area that includes Covington. He talked about the political future of Northern Kentucky, his role in leading the area, and what he thinks Democrats will be able to do this year in the legislative session.
