The State of Kentucky started life as a live-stream show on YouTube and Facebook, hosted by publisher Bruce Maples. The audio was also used for a podcast of the same name. It became, frankly, too much work to pull off each week, with the editing and such, so it went into mothballs for a time.
Now it is back as a videocast/podcast consisting of Bruce’s insights and analysis on current events in Kentucky and beyond. The show usually starts as an article on the site, which is then recorded as a video and posted to YouTube. Some of the episodes are also posted on TikTok.
