You say you didn’t make it to Fancy Farm this year? You say that you would rather attend a picnic with less vitriol and more community? You say you’d like to meet all the Dem candidates in person? Well then, we’ve got the event for you!

The Dems from Marion, Nelson, and Washington counties are putting on a big shindig this Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm. We hear there will be pork chops, burgers, and cold drinks, all for free. And, pretty much the entire statewide Democratic ticket is expected to attend. What are you waiting for?!?

Here’s the poster about the event. (Nice work by whomever put this together.) The weather is going to cooperate too, so get on your picnic clothes and get on over to the “Not Fancy Farm” picnic!
