Here’s the message I posted yesterday:

After waffling over it for a year, we are finally leaving Twitter. Just can’t see continuing to give eyeballs and clicks to an enabler of fascism.

We are now on Blue Sky, Threads, and Mastodon. (Covering those bases.) Will start posting more story links, and engaging more.

If you’ve been following the news, you know that Elon Musk (the owner of Twitter) was a major force in getting Trump elected, and appears to be moving right on in to the Trump administration, either officially or unofficially. In fact, he’s being referred to as the “real VP.”

I kept telling myself that I needed to be on Twitter for two reasons:

  • To promote our stories
  • To stay up to date on the news

Those may have been good reasons (although I question the first one). But I can’t continue to support Musk and his right-wing swampland.

So, here is where you can find Forward Kentucky:

I went through all the people I was following on Twitter, and looked for them on those three Twitter replacements. I found some of them, but not all. So, unless those people show up on one of the three channels, I won’t see what they post.

If you are on one of those channels, please follow us. And, please share our stuff. Thanks!
