Last week, the Kentucky Democratic Party’s executive committee unanimously approved the 2024 delegate selection and affirmative action plans. These plans lay out how Kentucky Democrats will select delegates for the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Ill., which will be August 19-22, 2024.

“We engaged Democrats of all backgrounds from across the Commonwealth to participate in our plan to select delegates to represent Kentucky at the national convention in 2024,” said Kentucky Democratic Party Chair Colmon Elridge. “As a party we are committed to a transparent and fair delegate selection process that ensures the delegates we send to Chicago are representative of the rich diversity and values of Kentucky Democrats.”

On June 1, 2024, Kentucky will hold County and Legislative District conventions to select representatives to the State Convention, which will be held on June 15, 2024.
