Former Jefferson County Democratic Party Executive Director Kyle West announced a new Political Action Committee called Unite Kentucky dedicated to promoting Democratic Party policies and political candidates.

“Unite Kentucky is not just another PAC. Our unique approach is to meet voters where they are, listen to their concerns, and inform them about the Democratic Party's efforts to strengthen and prosper Kentucky. We are committed to making a difference in the lives of Kentuckians,” Unite Kentucky’s Executive Director Kyle West said.

“Unite Kentucky's strategy is to harness the power of paid, professional political organizing to mobilize volunteers. We aim to engage Democratic voters who have not been involved or feel disconnected from the Democratic party,” West added. “Our goal is to move the Commonwealth forward by connecting the issues they care about with the legislators they elect. Our canvassing program, coupled with a comprehensive paid communications plan, is designed to achieve significant results in elections and bring new segments of voters back to the Democratic fold year after year.”

Unite Kentucky will begin concentrating in Louisville this year, targeting specific areas across the city where the PAC believes it can make the most significant impact in the General Election. The PAC opened an office on 3rd Street in downtown Louisville as a hub to execute its programming.
