Why in the world does Daniel Cameron need women's medical records?

The KDP again raises an important question.

Daniel Cameron has spent weeks trying and failing to hide his extreme stance on Kentucky’s abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or incest. But Cameron wants to go even farther – he wants to make sure he can access women’s private medical records from other states. Cameron even signed onto a letter opposing efforts to stop him from getting access to these records, which could open the door to prosecution for women forced to leave Kentucky for care as a result of his extreme ban on abortion.

“What reason could Daniel Cameron have for wanting access to the private medical records of patients – except to be able to prosecute those patients?” said Kentucky Democratic Party spokesperson Anna Breedlove. “Once again, Cameron’s dangerous agenda would put women at risk, including survivors of rape and incest forced to seek care elsewhere because of Cameron’s extreme ban.”
