UPDATE: Bill passes House 75-22. Repubs Banta, Dietz, Timoney vote against it. Dem Tackett-Lafferty votes for it. (!)
SB 150 now goes back to the Senate for them to concur with the changes, or not. If they don’t agree to the changes, a conference committee will try to work something out. They have until 11:59 to get it done, or the bill dies.
Determined to harm trans children in as many ways as possible, the GOP took the language of the stalled HB 470 bill, shoved it into a revised SB 150, then called an Education committee meeting with six minutes notice and passed this new bill out of committee and onto the House floor.
