KY House Dems to hold ‘Roller-Skating Fundraiser’ for LGBTQ rights

A cool idea for a serious cause

Political groups have held all sorts of fundraisers over the years: bake sales, raffles, dance-offs, chili contests, and even hula-hoop marathons.

But I’m pretty sure this is the first time that any group has used roller-skating as a fundraiser.

Note that you don’t have to skate to participate. You don’t even have to be present; you can donate online if you want.

I can’t skate – but I can give money. I just threw $25 in the pot using the online link, and you can too.

And if you go, please take pictures and send them to me!
